Give Them Hope Foundation is a registered, independent, non-government and non-profit organization which was established in 2009 by Mrs Pinky Mothiba. This was as a result of her observation on the needs of the community of Nellmapius which is one of the poorest areas on the outskirts of silverton. The main aim is to help and protect the rights and interests of the poor, the orphans, the neglected, the abused, the homeless, the HIV/AIDS and TB infected.
The foundation is dedicated to helping children from 0-18 years. Amongst the children, there are those who are HIV positive, orphaned, abandoned and those who live with poor or sick parents who cannot take care of them. The foundation places special attention to the conditions children grew up in by giving them nutritious food, clothing and shelter, the right to have healthy bodies and minds. The children are equipped to explore the wonders of the world they live in. They are given the opportunity to travel to other parts of the world so as to give them a chance to discover and experience the joys of existence and not only its pain.
